Year 1958: The wire and thread cooperation factory was founded to process various kinds of wires manually.

Year 1959: The factory made a simple mechanical cabling machine and trial-produced 7 copper twisted wires.

Year 1962: The factory started the bulk production of bare copper and aluminum wires new development zinc coated steel wires, round hobnails and iron wires.

Year 1972: Changzhou Cable Factory was founded and output 241KM of rubber-sleeve cable and 26KM of high-frequency cable.

Year 1973: The factory started the bulk production of marine cables, and the output exceeded 100KM.

Oct. 16, 1982: The inertial guidance cable was commended by the central committee, central military committee and the state council.
Year 1983: The output of marine cables exceeded 1000KM.
Year 1989: The marine cables passed the classification societies of Chinese CCS and British LR for the first time.
The 2nd generation EPR marine cables were put into bulk production.

Year 1991: The factory was entitled ‘national best credit enterprise’.
Year 1994: The low-smoke, halogen-free and flame-retardant power cable and light thin-sleeve, low-smoke and halogen-free marine telecommunication cable were awarded the title of ‘state-level new product’.
Year 1995: The company passed the ISO9002 quality management system certification.

Year 1997: The company was appraised as the advanced enterprise of military supportive products in Jiangsu province.
Year 1998: The company was appraised as Jiangsu High and New Tech Enterprise and underwent the cooperative shares system reform. The marine cables were recognized by the classification societies of China, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Japan and Norway etc.

Mar. 2000: Changzhou Marine Cable Co., Ltd. was founded and started the bulk production of the 3rd generation low-smoke and halogen-free marine cables. The sales revenue amounted to RMB 14 million.
Year 2001: The company passed the ISO9002:2000 certification.
The medium-voltage. cable was listed in the state-level key new product trial-production plan, and was awarded the title of state-level key new product.
The total sales volume of CMC exceeded RMB 100 million for the first time by major classification socicties of ABS,BV,CCS,DNV,GL LR and RINA etc.

Year 2002: The newly developed 400m underwater waterproof cable was the first of its kind on domestic market, and passed the provincial appraisement.
